Samsung french door refrigerator door flap problem.

I have the above listed samsung french door fridge. Left side french door flap on samsung refrigerator didn t retract when closing. This appears to be a common long standing samsung problem but haven t found a fix online. Similar problem to others reported here to samsung without solution.

The flap on the fridge ice dispenser cycles open closed endlessly. Fridge was delivered in june 2019. The problem is not with the door or the door hinges itself. The left door as you look at the fridge was open and i stood up from underneath it ooooowwww.

Appears to be wire harness issue. Nothing seems to reliably work to stop it opening closing door pushing ice water dispenser buttons tried everything i can think of. They said you will need to replace the mullion flap piece. That door is the one with the little flap on it that allows the 2 doors to seal in the middle of the fridge.

I stopped into my go to appliance repair shop to ask about what might be needed to repair the problem with my refrigerator door. Unpluggin fridge waited close to a minute.
